SCORE was established in 1991 to provide students with the opportunity to develop their research skills in different learning environments. Currently, SCORE covers more than 65 NMOs and offers over 3,000 research projects, giving more than 2,400 medical students worldwide the chance to participate in the IFMSA research exchange program.

SCORE was established in 1991 to provide students with the opportunity to develop their research skills in diverse learning environments. Currently, SCORE covers over 65 NMOs and offers more than 3,000 research projects, giving over 2,400 medical students worldwide the chance to participate in the IFMSA research exchange program. Our mission is to provide future physicians with the opportunity to experience medical research and cultural diversity in different countries. This is achieved through a network organized by active students both locally and internationally, creating global access to research exchange projects. Through our programs and opportunities, we aim to cultivate students who are culturally sensitive as well as skilled researchers committed to contributing to the advancement of science.

  • Our goal is to encourage them to take responsibility for their learning process according to their personal interests, introduce them to the fundamental principles of medical research, broaden their worldview, and provide the opportunity to experience different approaches to healthcare, ethical research standards, education, and patient care.
