Educational Project on Spinal Curvatures
In recent years, posture disorders and spinal curvatures have become increasingly common problems among young people and adolescents. In today's world, a sedentary lifestyle, improper posture, and excessive use of mobile devices are the main causes of this issue. Research shows that approximately 3 out of every 100 children face spinal curvatures. If not addressed in time, these problems can seriously impact quality of life and lead to complications such as chronic pain, pressure on internal organs, and movement limitations.
Project Goals and Activities
To reduce the impact of this problem on society, active members of the Public Health Committee carried out an educational project. As part of the project, three active members conducted in-depth research on the topic and, as a result, produced an informative video. The video emphasized the importance of proper posture and dispelled common misconceptions. Additionally, useful tips for maintaining a healthy posture were provided.
Through the video, it was explained that good posture is not only important for aesthetic appearance but also crucial for maintaining long-term health. The video was shared on AzerMDS's official Instagram page, reaching a wide audience.
The main objective of this project was to encourage people to pay more attention to maintaining proper posture and to help prevent health problems. As a result, more people will adopt better posture, leading to an improvement in their quality of life.
Sincerely,
Assistant of the Public Health Committee,
