The SCOPH committee of AzerMDS continues its efforts in environmental health awareness. To this end, a two-day webinar was organized for our active members by Dominika Flisek, the Environmental Health Program Coordinator of IFMSA.
During the webinar, Dominika Flisek provided detailed information on crucial topics such as environmental health, climate change, and their impacts on human health. Throughout the sessions, participants engaged in extensive discussions on the importance of protecting the environment and health, the challenges posed by climate change, and possible solutions.
The SCOPH Chair and other active members of the committee participated with great interest and enthusiasm. During the course of the webinar, small working groups were formed, facilitating mutual exchange of ideas and experience sharing among participants. These groups aimed to find practical solutions to various issues through discussions.
Certificates were awarded to all participants at the end of both sessions. These certificates acknowledge their efforts and engagement in enhancing their knowledge and skills on these important topics. The successful execution of this webinar serves as a motivation for future activities as part of SCOPH's ongoing environmental and health awareness initiatives.
As AzerMDS, we will continue organizing various events to promote environmental protection and human health. Such initiatives will play a key role in raising awareness within our members and the community.
We sincerely thank all our members who have joined us in this journey.
Sincerely,
Aytac Yusifli
Assistant of the Public Health Committee
